Q1 2024 Portfolio in Review

The first quarter of 2024 is gone as quickly as it came. And like most starts to the year, this one was full of great launches and announcements. Here’s a brief overview of some of the highlights.

The ether.fi Foundation launched ETHFI, the ether.fi governance token. This token launch empowers ether.fi’s growing ecosystem to participate in governance and chart the path forward for the protocol. You can read more about the token, airdrop and other details in their post: Announcing ETHFI.

Uniswap announced its first program, Uniswap Hook Incubator, an 8-week program to help devs build hooks (v4’s flagship feature). The program starts April 8. You can apply here.

Filebase launched the Filebase Content Delivery Network, a CDN specifically optimized for IPFS content delivery.

Dinari launched its B2B API and managed account services. Businesses and devs can easily incorporate tokenized US stocks and ETFs into their offerings with Dinari’s REST API or smart contracts. If anyone wants to build the “Robinhood for their country” that offers US stocks and ETFs on their platforms, this is the way.

Qvin’s Q-Pad received FDA Approval as a diagnostic menstrual pad.

Shippo announced Addresses API, a fast reliable solution for validating, parsing and storing customer addresses. This address management solution helps make sure the right package gets sent to the right address, while giving customers a world-class shopping experience.

Gencove has partnered with Ferris Genomics to offer end-to-end genomics sequencing services. You can read the announcement here.

Fundraising Announcements

Ether.fi raised $27M led by Bullish and CoinFund, with many other investors participating (including Version One). The $27 million is split between a previously unannounced SAFE closed late last year and a Series A. Here’s their announcement on X.

Jam announced their $8.9M Series A, led by GGV Capital U.S., with participation from Figma Ventures and founders of leading engineering-driven companies.
